The Legend of the Kyubi

Two weeks had passed since Lusamine and the others had appeared at the Uzumaki mansion after the dimensional fusion.     

Kurama had used his ability to transform the new arrivals into Yokai, as well as the other girls who were mortals of the clan, so they could spend more time together.     

The children decided to wait because the DNA mutation process was one in which they could not age until they had only a few years left to live, and none of them wanted to maintain a childlike appearance hundreds of years in the future.     

Just as the inhabitants of the Yokai dimension were excited about the Pokémon, the inhabitants of the other dimension were interested in the new creatures that inhabited the human world, the animals, although this caused Kushina doubts in the others because they did not think that the inhabitants of the other dimension would eat Pokémon to survive, although this should not be a surprise, after all, the Pokémon also had a food pyramid, and although they could eat food made by humans, some food was still based on other Pokémon.     

The children had begun their little journey through this new world under the supervision of Anko, who was honestly curious.     

Oak was in the human world investigating the animals along with Rowan, Birch and Elm.     

Kurama was investigating the surroundings with Gladio and Orochimaru, and although at first the young blond had some dislike for the snake Sannin, as time went on he started to get used to him, besides, he wasn't so bad once you got past his appearance.     

Kurama was also more relaxed with Orochimaru because he hadn't shown any strange attitudes, not to mention that since the Pokémon had appeared in the world, he was much more relaxed, he even had a small team consisting of an Ekans, an Arbok and a Seviper, which wasn't strange seeing his "background".     

Kurama had his team back, except for Salamance and Dragonite who were spending time together after they got together, and to Kurama's relief, Dragonite wasn't as "aggressive" during those times, if the opposite was the case, he would have a huge bill to pay Oak for the damage caused.     

[I feel like you're thinking something nonsensical, master] - Mewtwo said as he noticed how Kurama's gaze started to cloud over.     

"Oh, sorry, I just had a little concern for my friend" - said Kurama as he shook his head - "I notice how tired Salamance looks... I may have to help him when we get back."     

"As interesting as it is to investigate the reproductive factor of dragon-type Pokémon, I think you better leave them alone, Kurama-kun" - said Orochimaru as he continued writing down all the information he saw - "Interesting, these plants look like some that were in our world, only with new characteristics, possibly a mutation caused by the dimensional fusion that caused the plants to mutate as well... it's possible that the Pokémon also mutated in a certain way"     

"It's possible" - Kurama nodded as he used his [Sennin Mode] to detect some nearby presence - "This way."     

Orochimaru and Gladio followed the ten-tailed Kitsune until they reached a cave and saw a huge white bear with a yellow circle on its chest.     

"Ursaaaaaaaa!" - the bear roared fiercely as it sensed the presence of these strangers as it ran towards the entrance.     

"An Ursaring?" - Gladio said in surprise - "But this color is different from its normal colors or its Shiny form."     

"It is possible that she has undergone a change in her color palette because of the nearby plants" - said Kurama as he pondered - "What do you think, Orochimaru?"     

"That's an interesting guess, though we'd have to take some samples, as well as taking this... What did you call it, Ursaring?" - Orochimaru asked as he watched Gladio nod - "Shall we capture her?"     

"No, I can sense there are cubs inside, which means this mother Ursaring is protecting her Teddiursa."     

Kurama looked at the Ursaring before slowly approaching.     

The Ursaring began to growl louder, until she felt a strange warm feeling surround her - "Ur?"     

"Relax, we didn't come to hurt you" - Kurama said as he used his control over the aura to try to make a connection with the Ursaring.     

The mother Ursaring was silent as she nodded because she could sense that this human was not evil or would cause them harm.     

"Mewtwo, I want you to try to translate what she says" - Kurama said as he looked at his partner.     

[Understood] - nodded Mewtwo as he waited for Kurama to start talking to the bear Pokémon.     

"Do you know the reason for your color change?" - Kurama asked seriously.     

Ursaring was silent for a few seconds before starting to roar.     

"What did she say, Mewtwo?" - Kurama asked curiously.     

[She said that she ate some strange white berries nearby] - replied Mewtwo as he listened to the Ursaring growl again - [Also that to find them we have to go in that direction].     

"Thank you very much" - Kurama said with a smile as he summoned a box from his storage seal and set it down in front of the mother bear - "You can consider this as a thank you for the help, and I recommend you not to eat any more strange things, because we don't know what kind of changes it might cause to your babies."     

The mother bear nodded before carrying the box into the cave.     

"What did you give her?" - Orochimaru asked with slight interest.     

"Lots of fruits we've tested, and they don't cause problems, a barrel of Combee honey, and a blanket for her to cover her cubs in case there's a frosty season" - Kurama answered honestly, though he noticed the skeptical look on the former Snake Sannin's face - "Don't look down on the Pokémon, they are much more intelligent than you think, to the point that they could be compared to the summoning of our former world, only without the power of speech unless they possess strong psychic power like Mewtwo"     

"I see" - nodded Orochimaru as he decided to dig a little deeper, and maybe start studying how to communicate with the Pokémon directly.     

"If you're interested in the subject, I can contact Professor Elm to send Meowth" - said Kurama calmly.     

"A Meowth? If I remember that's a cat Pokémon" - Orochimaru said with a frown - "How would that Pokémon help me?"     

"He's a new intern at Professor Elm's lab, and he's so far the only Pokémon that has learned to speak human language on his own merit" - Kurama answered seriously.     

"Interesting..." - Orochimaru muttered with a huge smile - "I accept."     

Gladio walked to where the trees were and noticed that there was a strange completely white tree - "Tousan..."     

"This is strange, even with the dimensional fusion" - Kurama said with a frown. He quickly pulled it out of the ground and teleported it to his lab after making sure no one was there.     

"This is not a mutation, but rather the effect of some kind of strange creature" - said Orochimaru while shaking his head - "Maybe the Pokémon dimension wasn't the only thing that merged with our reality?"     

Kurama was silent as he thought about this hypothesis, praying that it wasn't true because honestly that would be more problems than he wanted to solve.     

"I think we better go back to ask the girls if they know anything about this tree" - Kurama said seriously.     

"Right, it's possible that this external agent appeared because of the influence of your females" - said Orochimaru while nodding.     

The trio quickly disappeared, though as it happened, a pair of white hands came out of the ground where they were before returning into the earth.

Kurama quickly called out to the girls from other dimensions to show them the tree, noticing how one of them showed a reaction - "Do you know what this is, Tier?"     

"Yes, though I'm surprised to run into a tree from [Hueco Mundo], much more with leaves and fruits" - Tier answered honestly.     

"Wait, I've been in [Hueco Mundo] for a long time, so I've seen their trees, and this one looks nothing like them" - Kurama said with a frown.     

"It's because you haven't seen the ones in the eastern part of our world" - Tier replied as she shook her head - "I know about this variety because they were there when I recruited Apacci."     

"Then, we have to assume that our world merged with a part of your dimension, in this case, [Hueco Mundo]..." - Orochimaru said as he folded his arms - "Anything we need to know about that place?"     

"That before Kurama intervened, it was a place that was ruled by the law of the jungle, all the Hollow, that's what my race is called, devoured each other until one reached its peak evolution stage" - Tier replied while frowning - "Honestly, I'm not sure if any Hollow entered this dimension just like us, though we'd better be prepared in case we're alerted by mysterious disappearances."
