C47 Nightmare
Tang Wanting remembered Bai Hee saying that Ye Zhiqiu wanted to please her. Tang Wanting could not help but laugh. Ye Zhiqiu must have gone crazy. That was why he was interested in a woman with a dark face.
She turned around and walked to the bedside. She lifted the blanket and laid down on the bed.
Tang Wanting fell asleep very quickly. She had a dream!
It was dark and deep in the night. She could not see anything. She struggled in the sea and the bitter cold water kept rushing into her mouth and stomach.
The bitterness and fear that came from the bottom of her heart made Tang Wanting let out a scream and wake up.
Her entire body was drenched in sweat. She sat on the bed and gasped for breath.
The door was pushed open from the outside and Mrs Zhang walked in. Seeing Tang Wanting's head full of sweat, she hurriedly walked over, "What is going on?"
"It's nothing. I just had a dream. " Tang Wanting covered her chest.
"Let me pour you a glass of water. " Mrs Zhang hurriedly prepared to pour water. Tang Wanting called out to her, "Mrs Zhang, what time is it now?"
"It's six o'clock. "
"I should go back. " Tang Wanting said as she got off the bed.
"Young Master asked you to stay here. " Mrs Zhang looked at her, "You better listen to Young Master. Otherwise, he will be unhappy when he comes back. "
Tang Wanting looked at Mrs Zhang. "Is Mr Ye coming back tonight?"
"Yes. Young Master said he would come back before he left. "
Tang Wanting hesitated for a moment. Ye Zhiqiu had a bad temper, so it was better for her to stay here.
She ate dinner at Ye Zhiqiu's house. Mrs Zhang made a lot of food and filled the table. Tang Wanting, however, was not in the mood to eat. She only ate a few mouthfuls of rice and drank half a bowl of soup before putting down her chopsticks.
"Is the food not to your liking?" Mrs Zhang asked her with concern.
"The food you cooked is very delicious. It's my fault. I don't have an appetite. "
"Are you uncomfortable? How about I call Young Master and tell him? " Mrs Zhang stood up and prepared to make a call.
"No need. I'm fine. You don't have to trouble Mr Ye. "
"Then go and rest for a while. Call me if you need anything. "
Tang Wanting agreed to go upstairs. She leaned on the sofa and played with her phone for a while. She looked at the time and saw that it was already ten o'clock in the evening.
Tang Wanting prepared to sleep. She had sweated a lot when she just slept. Her body was sticky and very uncomfortable.
Tang Wanting prepared to take a shower before going to sleep. When she entered the bathroom, she heard the sound of cars coming from outside. Not long later, there were footsteps on the stairs and Mrs Zhang's greeting. Ye Zhiqiu had returned.
Tang Wanting went into the bathtub and washed the ointment on her face. She prepared to take a bath. After she washed the black paste on her face, she was surprised to find that her purple face had recovered a lot.
It seemed that this paste really lived up to its reputation. Seeing that the bathtub was filled with water, Tang Wanting took off her clothes and prepared to take a bath.
She put one foot into the bathtub and suddenly realized something was wrong. She actually put a bucket of cold water in it.
The cold water made Tang Wanting shiver. She hurriedly took out her feet but did not think that her feet would slip and she immediately fell backwards.
She reached out to grab something to stabilize her body but there was nothing behind her. The wall was bare and there was nothing to grab.
Tang Wanting fell down like this and there was nothing on her body. This fall was so solid that Tang Wanting could not help but let out a scream.
