"Honestly speaking, do you know how to cook?" Ji Mu Cheng put down his chopsticks and crossed his arms before the table. He looked at her gently and asked.
"I know how to cook, but in fact, overseas, most of the food was cooked by my auntie. I learned a few things from her." Xia Xin Nian was finally about to tell the truth. Actually, she had really spent a lot of effort and time on improving her culinary skills. However, she did not know what was going on either. Her hands were able to draw a beautiful and flourishing painting, but as soon as she took out the spatula, she was returned to her original form.

"Angry? Why should I be angry?" Ji Mu Cheng shrugged. "I never asked my woman to cook."

"I don't blame you. You have to work hard to take care of the child by yourself. You don't have the heart to learn anything else. This is very normal." Ji Mu Cheng was not angry. Instead, he felt his heart ache. Everyone only had 24 hours. Xia Xinxin was just a weak woman. She could not be proficient in everything.
"I was the one who messed up today's dinner." Xia Xinxin was still ashamed. If she had not shown off, she would not have let the two of them starve until now.
"Don't blame yourself. Let's go. I'll get someone to clean up this place. There's a restaurant downstairs." As the man spoke, he stood up and held her hand.
Xia Xinxin had no choice but to get up. She took her coat and followed him out.
"It's almost 9 o'clock. Where else can I eat? Why don't we order takeout?" Xia Xin felt that at this time of the day, there would be no dining hall to welcome guests.
"Take-out?" The man frowned. "I've eaten it before when I was in university. It's been a long time since I ate it."
"Then wait for me. I'll call for you. What do you want to eat?" Xia XinNian asked curiously.
"Forget it. Why don't we just walk around the neighborhood and see what we can eat?" It was definitely not a short time to wait for takeout. This was the first time Ji Mu City had experienced what it meant to be hungry. "Alright then. Take-out also needs time. I'm about to starve to death." Xia Xinxin subconsciously touched her stomach and flattened it.
Ji Mu City looked at her with both anger and pampering. "You don't know how to cook, why didn't you tell me earlier? Do you want to show off in front of me?"

"Who asked you to say that you must eat my cooking? I didn't want to disappoint you." Xia Xin muttered softly. She knew that she was in the wrong, so she refused to admit it.
Ji Mu Cheng unhappily hugged her shoulder. "Let's go."
The two of them found a seat in an old noodle restaurant next to them. When the steaming noodles were served to the table, there were also several delicious dishes. The two of them ate heartily. They no longer cared about their image.
After the meal, it was already past ten o'clock. There were a few young girls beside them who kept whispering to each other with red faces. Their eyes occasionally looked towards Ji Mu City.
It was clear that they had never met such a noble and handsome man in their lives. Their movements were all charming.
Xia Xin Nian also noticed it. Although she thought that she was not bad looking, she was by Ji Mu City's side. She still has no light. A few young men looked at her, but they were all forced back by Ji Mu City's dark and ruthless eyes.
Xia Xin Nian would probably never know how cold this man's gaze would be when facing an invisible love rival.
After eating the noodles and walking out of the restaurant, the two of them looked at each other at the same time.
"It's almost 10 o'clock. Let's go home. I'm afraid my son has a problem." Although Ji Mu City still wanted to be alone with her, he still resisted the urge. After all, his son wasn't picked up. As a father, he still had to place his son in an important position.
"Okay." Xia Xinxin was also concerned about her son.
The two of them drove home.
In the villa, the little guy was sitting on the sofa with a bag of snacks in his hands. In front of him, a huge television was playing an anime. The little guy was enjoying it.
Beside him, the housekeeper uncle wanted to persuade him but could not. When would the young master and Miss Xia come back? Little Young Master was going to flip the sky.
"My son should be asleep." Ji Mu Cheng murmured in a low voice.
"I think so." Xia Xin Nian also thought so. Although tomorrow was a two-day break and the little guy didn't need to go to school, he had been very sensible since he was young. He would go to bed on time.
The black car stopped at the entrance of the hall. The two of them had just gotten out of the car when they heard the unique sound of cartoons coming from inside. The two of them were startled and quickly entered the hall.
"Daddy, Mommy, you guys just came back. It's so late." When the little guy saw the two adults return, his little shoulders shrank and he immediately pouted to complain.
Xia Xin looked at her son seriously. "You know it's late, why are you still watching TV?"
"I'm waiting for you guys?" The little guy had a good reason.
"Don't look anymore. Go upstairs and sleep." Xia XinNian turned off the television.
The little fellow drooped his little head in boredom. "Mommy, can you let Daddy sleep with us tonight?"
Ji Mu City's thin lips curled up. His son was quite capable.
"Why?" Xia Xin Nian's pretty face heated up, and her heart turned soft.
"You've already gone on a date with Daddy, but you guys aren't together yet?" The little fellow was quite shrewd, and had long seen through all of this.
Ji Mu Cheng walked over and picked up his son. He asked him gently, "Tomorrow, I'll bring you back to Grandpa and Grandma's place to play. Do you want it?"
"Really? Will Mommy go too?" The little guy looked excited.
"Of course, your Mommy will go too." When the man said this, he looked at Xia XinNian.
The burning light in the man's eyes made Xia Xinxin shudder. She turned around to avoid him and said to her son, "Yes, Mommy will go too."
The little fellow's mother kissed Ji Mu City fiercely. "As long as Daddy is good to Mommy, I will definitely be good to you."
Ji Mu Cheng was speechless. Was there a need for his son to be so realistic?
Fortunately, his heart jumped for this woman. If he did not like her, Could it be a sad story?
Xia Xin was inexplicably moved. Her son was too warm. For someone who knew how to protect her child, should she give birth to a few more?
When she thought of this, Xia Xinxin felt ashamed. Her relationship with Ji Mu City eased up a little. She was actually thinking about all these things.
Ji Mu City could only pat his son's little head and promise him, "Don't worry, Daddy really likes your mommy."
