When she barge into the office, Xia Xingcheng chuckled. She was not fazed by Zhou David at all and introduced herself, "I'm the new employee. There are some areas that I need your signature for a transfer."    

    

Xia Xingcheng didn't go into detail as there was not much to say. She felt Zhou David was envious of the new employees. After all, he knew when decisions were made in the company, it was made by the person behind the company. The person that had the authority.    

    

When Xia Xingcheng finished her introduction. Zhou David was stunned for a moment and he wasn't so arrogant anymore.    

    

As if the office was hers, Xia Xingcheng sat down on the chair and crossed her legs.    

    

"I will then be troubling you," Xia Xingcheng snorted in disdain and place the document on front of Zhou David to sign.    

    

Zhou David was already furious that his plans got interrupted, but now seeing this new employee, he became agitated. Fortunately for Gu Xingxi, Zhou David's mind was still focussed on him so he accepted anything and signed the documents without even reading them.    

    

Xia Xingcheng was satisfied instantly. Her eyes were glistening while she smiled like she got away with doing something bad. She smiled and said, "Then let me thank you."    

    

Even though she thanked him but she was not in a hurry to leave the office. Instead, she change seats to the sofa and calmly flipped through the document that was just signed, very composed.    

    

Zhou David started to get angry, "Do you have any other business with me? If not, then get lost. Don't get in my way."    

    

He was accustomed to being unrestrained in the company with Sheng Chenfeng. So at this moment, he left a way out for Xia Xingcheng out of fear. Otherwise, he would have already made his move other times.    

    

Xia Xingcheng laughed as she didn't care and in a very good mood, she said, "Okay, I'll leave now."

Xia Xingcheng laughed as if she heard a joke, "Nothing is impossible. Since I said he is, then he is. Besides, didn't you just sign the document?"

Zhou David was upset by her arrogant expression. He took the document and looked at it carefully.    

    

When Zhou David saw what the document was, he got angrier. With the anger he felt, he threw the document onto the table.    

    

"Xia Xingcheng, you tricked me?" Zhou David asked as you could feel the fire coming out from him.    

    

It was a contract was the power of attorney agreeing to transfer Gu Xingxi to another agent. It was purely his own fault for being careless and not read the contract before signing.    

    

"Strange, when did I trick to you? I did say I need your signature for a transfer." Xia Xingcheng looked at Zhou David for being stupid. She said in amusement, "However, you did signed it yourself, yet you blame me for your carelessness for not reading the contents?"    

    

Zhou David choked for a moment. It was not Xia Xingcheng that tricked him but he was careless just then.    

    

So what if the transfer contract was signed? Gu Xingxi was someone that he had his eyes on for a long time. He would give up so easily. He wasn't going to allow her to step on him like that.    

    

Thinking about this, Zhou David had to suppress the anger he felt. He tried to console Xia Xingcheng, "Miss Xia, you are aware I've been guiding Gu Xingxi for a long time. Since the company contract has been signed, it wouldn't look good if you rush over to guide Gu Xingxi so suddenly."

Xia Xingcheng gave a sign to Gu Xingxi as to leave with her quickly but Zhou David with a dark face stopped them. "Wait, we have to sort this matter out first. Of course I will have clear answer. Just wait for me."    

    

Xia Xingcheng nodded. She wasn't too concerned and only gestured to Zhou David to do what he needed to do. Then, she walked back to the sofa and sat down.    

    

After pouring herself a cup of tea, she made herself comfortable while drinking her tea. Xia Xingcheng suddenly noticed some blood on Gu Xingxi's palm from the corner of her eyes. She frowned a bit when she saw it.    

    

She took out a band aid from her bag and gave it to Gu Xingxi, who was standing near the sofa. Xia Xingcheng said, "Hurry up, quickly put the band aid on to stop the bleeding."    

    

Gu Xingxi took the band aid in a daze. He then realized there was a lot of blood on his palm. His palm was bleeding because he smashed the glass bottle in anger before but because he felt no pain so he didn't know his palm was bleeding.    

    

While Xia Xingcheng still had a smile, Gu Xingxi didn't say much. He immediately put the band aid on his hand and then focussed his attention on Zhou David's call.    

    

He was very nervous, this could be his only chance to get away from Zhou David.    

    

Where did this woman come from? How can she be so confident she can do it?    

    

At this moment, Zhou David was still on the phone with his back facing the office.    

    

Xia Xingcheng was curious of the conversation, she tried to zero into their phone call, couldn't wait to hear how speechless Zhou David would be. She had a feeling she would feel great.    

    

She heard Zhou David say, "General Manager, Gu Xingxi signed a contract for two years and there is still half a year before the contract expires. If we change the contract now, that might against the rules."    

    

"There's nothing done that doesn't meet the rules. The contract belongs to a small artist anyway. Bring a new artist to the company and we can sign them up later. Then when the time comes, there will be more good seedlings for you." The general manager said from the receiver.    

    

Zhou David didn't understand what was happening. He didn't look good, thinking he may have heard incorrectly, he said to the General Manager wording it differently, "General Manager, I have stayed with Gu Xingxi for so many years and I've been attached to him. I can't bear to give it to her, how about …"    

    

However, before Zhou David could finish his sentence, the General Manager interrupted bluntly, "There's no need fro you to say anymore. The Leader assigned this matter. It doesn't matter who it is, it's useless now. This matter will end here, so stop talking!"    

    

And with that, before Zhou David could say anything else, the General Manager hung up the phone.
