"So you came all the here today to give me a warning?"
There was ridicule in Xia Xingcheng's eyes as she smirked coldly.
Xu Hao saw the smirk that Xia Xingcheng gave yet her expression was cold. He now realized they were no longer familiar with each other.
The memory he had of Xia Xingcheng was never this cold and bold. Suddenly he felt his heart ache. Xu Hao took a deep breath and closed his eyes helplessly.
He could only comfort himself by reminding him this was the woman whom betrayed him and she was no longer the same Xia Xingcheng he knew.
"Xingcheng, I don't know how you became like this, but Xingyan is a really good woman. When you were abroad, all she does is talk and put in good words about you. Did you know it's all because she kept on insisting you come home that your father permitted you to return?"
"When you slept with someone else and betrayed me, it was Xingyan that tried to cover up for you. Did you know it was so painful, I couldn't bear it? If it wasn't for Xingyan being there for me, I wouldn't know how to deal with it."
Xia Xingcheng felt even more bitter. Everything that happened was all schemed by Xingyan. Now the tables were turned and it was her fault? She really had to applaud Xingyan for such a good plan.
Perhaps a fool like Xu Hao would believe her. With that thought, Xia Xingcheng couldn't help but feel a little sorry for Xu Hao.
"Have you finished talking? If you're done, please leave, you're not welcomed here."
'There is nothing left to explain' Xia Xingcheng thought. Since it happened a long time ago and it was already in the past, there was no point to explaining it. She went around Xu Hao and took out her keys to open the door and was about to enter.

The last remark set off a fuse for Xingcheng. He was now really pushing the already delicate relationship of theirs to the point where they would be worse than being strangers.
Xia Xingcheng's patience had already wore out. She snorted coldly with disdain. "I see that you haven't changed all these years too, still a fool that is brainwashed. Now get lost, don't dirty my eyes here."
After saying that, Xia Xingcheng quickly pulled Xiaobao in front of her and ignored Xu Hao.
Xu Hao's hand hit the door in anger and refused to let Xia Xingcheng go in, "Xia Xingcheng, you were the one that did such a shameful thing. You let me down first and now you're acting like you were wrongly accused? You really are despicable."
Xu Hao saw Xia Xingcheng's expression changed slightly and he immediately felt better being able to vent out what he kept in him all these years. He continued, "You're lucky, Xingyan still thinks of you and was able to find someone to be with you, otherwise, who would want to be with you, a single mother with such a child?"
"Scram, get the hell out!"
Xia Xingcheng was furious, her eyes were bloodshot. She pushed Xu Hao away, who was blocking the door, and slammed the door shut.
She was really afraid that if Xu Hao continued and wouldn't let her leave, she wouldn't be able to keep her composure and break down. After all, that man was whom she loved deeply one time.
However, Xu Hao was still outside the door, he refused to move, "Xia Xingcheng, let me give you a word of advice, you should accept the arrangement. Otherwise, when the time comes, Xia Family will any method to force you to accept it. I'll like to see how much better you'll be!"
"Get lost!" Xia Xingcheng shouted.
After a long while, Xu Hao finally left. It was finally quiet outside. Xia Xingcheng was then able to relax and leaned against the door with a sorrowful expression.
Her originally good mood had been interrupted to an extreme by Xu Hao. She already knew the Xia Family would not let go of this arrangement. She had to think of a way. The least is she couldn't let them get hold of Xiaobao again and use him to threaten her.
Xiaobao being next to his mom the whole time, saw how worried she was. He couldn't help but say to her, "Mommy, Daddy is really amazing! Why don't you let Daddy protect us? Let Daddy protect us! Mommy, Daddy will definitely protect us!"
When Xiaobao finished saying this to Xia Xingcheng, the thoughts that was in her mind before came back to her.
Sheng Yeting's arrogant image appeared in her mind. It was indeed, Sheng Yeting could protect them, but … that man is so capable and phenomenal, why would he want to be with a single mom with a child?
Xia Xingcheng couldn't help but pulled Xiaobao over and hugged him. She coaxed him patiently, "Xiaobao, don't talk nonsense in the future. That person is not your dad, so we can't bother or annoy him in the future."
Xiaobao nodded reluctantly. He looked at his mom with his eyes wide open and wanted to say his thoughts but hesitated.
'Mom, Xiaobao can feel it. He is my dad. Why won't mom believe me?'
What Xia Xingcheng didn't know was what Xiaobao was thinking. Seeing Xiaobao nod, she felt relieved. She then took Xiaobao to the bathroom.
Xiaobao stayed quiet as he seemed to have something on his mind today. He finished his shower quickly and went to the bedroom. After the stressful day today, Xia Xingcheng was very tired, so she decided to rest with Xiaobao after she finished taking her shower.
Xiaobao laid on the bed by himself but couldn't fall asleep. He recalled the incident this evening where Xu Hao came to cause trouble at home. He panicked with fear and had no choice but to use his Mom's phone to secretly call Sheng Yeting.
As soon as Sheng Yeting stepped through the door, he heard his parents talking about his marriage in the living room.
"Yeting's marriage is top priority... Oh, you're back. Your father and I was just now talking about your grandparents found you a few opulent women to meet this weekend. We hope that you can go and take the time to meet them."
Just as Sheng Yeting was taking off his jacket, when he heard what his mother said, hands paused slightly. He sighed helplessly but didn't say anything.
He has gotten used to Qin Pei's persuasion a long time ago. He had always respected his mother from a very young age but whenever, his mother would bring up the marriage issue, he would always find an excuse or change the topic so he could avoid the conversation.
But today, Sheng Yeting was particularly not too happy to hear it, "I've been very busy lately, perhaps some other weekend."
For these arrangements, it was really tiresome to go and meet these women.
Then Sheng Yeting suddenly had a thought. It didn't matter who he married, as long as he was married. So that means he could marry anyone he wanted.
