After Ning Qianyu heard that he called Mu Shengchen a cripple, she instantly became furious as if she was protecting her own child, glaring at the couple with fire in her eyes, "Who are you calling a cripple?"
The young man answered without even thinking, "Anyone with eyes could tell who's the cripple here."
"Though he may be crippled on the outside, he certainty still have a heart of a human, unlike someone who is worse than a beast, how hopeless." Ning Qianyu sarcastically replied.
The young man flushed instantly at Ning Qianyu's words. He then glanced at Ning Qianyu and laughed out of a sudden, "Tsk, tsk. Young Master Mu, who was once so arrogant, has such a unique taste in woman."
Ning Qianyu looked down at clothes, wearing a shirt, an old jacket, jeans and a pair of running shoes.
"None of your business," Mu Shengchen's expression was cold and arrogant.
"Oh, I've forgotten. Ever since Young Master Mu got into a car accident, he had left the Mu's Group. And the Second Young Master Mu had taken over everything, no wonder Young Master Mu's taste had dropped," The young man mocked him as much as he could. Thinking that the man he had once envied and admired was now someone he could end with a stomp, making him to feel delighted.
Did he lose so much because of the car accident? Ning Qianyu looked at the man in front of her in a daze, heart throbbing with pain.
"Young master You, you're blocking the way," There was no hint of emotion in Mu Shengchen's cold voice as he pointed at the beggar that was walking towards the young man from behind.
"Hmph, such unfortunate," You Jie glared the beggar behind him and brought his female companion with him to leave that place as fast as he could.
"What a hateful person. Dressed up like a human yet speak like a devil, such a waste," Ning Qianyu frowned in dissatisfaction.
Mu Shengchen did not expect Ning Qianyu to scold that man rudely, instantly took all his gloominess away.
"That's why I didn't bother him."
Ning Qianyu parted her mouth, wanting to ask Mu Shengchen whether what that person said was true. After his car accident, he left the Mu's, and everything was taken over by Second Young Master Mu. However, Ning Qianyu thought for a moment and ended up not asking him.
"Right, where are we going for breakfast?"
When Mu Shengchen pointed at the Green Lake Villa behind them, causing Ning Qianyu to be panicked.
She finally understood why Mu Shengchen was dressed so formally.
Green Lake Villa was the most famous restaurant in City A where many well-known people always came here for dining.
"Uh, we're going there?" Ning Qianyu was shocked beyond belief.
"Didn't I owe you a bowl of Snow Toad porridge?" Mu Shengchen glanced at Ning Qianyu with interest.
Ning Qianyu's face sunk, thinking that he clearly knew that they were coming here, but he did not remind her to wear a more formal outfit. Ning Qianyu had the thought of turning back when she thought of dining in the restaurant with her casual outfits.
"Don't you have the guts to enter?" Mu Shengchen looked at Ning Qianyu in ridicule, and she stubbornly said, "Let's go! Who wouldn't have the guts?"
Ning Qianyu regretted her words the moment the waiter in tuxedo opened the door for them.
When the door opened, the ray of lights from the restaurant blinded her eyes, hearing the clinking sound of silver cutleries. All the men and women were dressed in suits and dresses, only Ning Qianyu who dressed in a shirt and jeans was looking like an outcast
Although no one said anything, everyone's gaze was fixated on Ning Qianyu, making her felt as if she was sitting on pins and needles.
After ordering breakfast, Mu Shengchen's gaze fell on Ning Qianyu, "What's wrong?"
Ning Qianyu frowned and replied in a low voice, "It's all because of you. Why didn't you say that we'll be having our breakfast here? I didn't even change my clothes."
Mu Shengchen smirked, "No one has made it mandatory for the customer to dress formally."
"That's true," Ning Qianyu felt slightly at ease, after hearing Mu Shengchen's words.
At this time, the waiter came over and served them their breakfast. In front of Ning Qianyu, there was a bowl of porridge, the Snow Toad Porridge Mu Shengchen had mentioned.
Ning Qianyu stirred the porridge with a spoon and then put it into her mouth. The silky porridge melted in her mouth with a hint of sweetness. It was really appetizing.
"It's delicious," Ning Qianyu put down her bowl in satisfaction.
Mu Shengchen raised his eyebrows, elegantly wiped his mouth with a napkin and asked, "Is that enough? Do you want more?"
"It's enough. It will be too full if I eat another bowl of it," Ning Qianyu playfully winked her eyes.
"Let's come again next time."
Ning Qianyu looked around, making sure that there was no one around, then she whispered, "I think it's better not to. It's way too expensive. If you want some porridge, I can make it for you."
"Alright," As he said that, Mu Shengchen asked the waiter for the bill.
After leaving the Green Lake Villa, Ning Qianyu pushed Mu Shengchen out and took a few hundred meters of walk. They then arrived at the Wanda Plaza.
Mu Shengchen suddenly asked, "Do you have something to buy?"
Ning Qianyu pointed to the top of the building. "I'm going there."
Mu Shengchen followed the direction Ning Qianyu pointed to and saw a row of luxury shops.
Thinking that Ning Qianyu wanted to buy some luxury goods, he nodded.
"Alright."
Ning Qianyu pushed Mu Shengchen to the long escalators and stood there until they reached the platform where luxury shops located. On the opposite side of the platform, there was a small fountain and when she turned around, she could see cars driving around on Wanda Street through the glass beneath her with breeze was blowing from all directions.
"The scenary is breathtaking," Mu Shengchen was stunned.
"Actually, other than these shops, there are other things that can be seen in this Wanda Plaza."
Ning Qianyu pressed the brakes on the wheelchair and sat on the ground beside it. Both of them did not say a word, only stared at the busy street under their feet in a daze.
The fountain sprung out of the water, and under the water, there were colorful lights flashing alternately. The speaker which was embedded on the ground was playing the song 'My Future Is Not a Dream'.
Behind Ning Qianyu and Mu Shengchen, there was a vast expanse of mist. Droplets of the mist dropped onto them…
With a smile on her face, Ning Qianyu reached out her hand to wipe away the droplets of water on Mu Shengchen's hair.
Mu Shengchen lifted his head and saw Ning Qianyu's focused face.
She was looking so serious, yet not pretentious, making him want to remember this beauty forever.
Ning Qianyu took out a handkerchief from her bag, carefully wiped the water droplets on Mu Shengchen's coat, and whispered, "Was it nice? When I was in university, my greatest joy was to walk to the Qian You Lake to see this fountain. It's just that the fountain wasn't that beautiful back then."
"Didn't you come here again after you've started working?" Mu Shengchen raised his eyebrows.
After she had started working, she fell in love with Mu Jinbo. However, Mu Jinbo dislike places like this. Naturally, she would follow Mu Jinbo's wishes. Ning Qianyu put the handkerchief back into her bag with a downcast face, "I've been too busy to come here."
"There's a fountain in the Mu Family Courtyard," Mu Shengchen looked towards Ning Qianyu. She should have seen it before, had she not?

Mu Family gave off a different feeling," The suppressive feeling of the wealthy class and being in love with Mu Jinbo for three years, she was very strict with herself, fear that she would make any mistakes that would embarrassed Mu Jinbo.
Mu Shengchen knew that Ning Qianyu recalled her past relationship with Mu Jinbo. He twitched his mouth and said, "Sorry, I didn't mention it on purpose."
Ning Qianyu smiled gently at him, "It's okay. It's already the past."
Mu Shengchen then lifted his head, his hair was fluttering in the breeze as a faint smile appeared on his handsome-looking face, causing Ning Qianyu to be stunned for a moment.
Suddenly, her phone rang, making Ning Qianyu to look away unnaturally.
Mu Shengchen took out his cell phone from his pocket and asked, "Ye Xi, what's the matter?"
She did not know what was said on the other side of the line, but Mu Shengchen's expression suddenly turned cold.
Ning Qianyu, who was beside him, keenly sensed something wrong and gazed at him.
His gaze was cold and full of hostility. He coldly replied, "Understood," Then he hung up.
"Let's go back," Mu Shengchen's voice was very calm, but his deep dark eyes were flashing with a cold light.
Ning Qianyu clearly knew that something must have happened, or else Mu Shengchen's mood would not have changed.
Without further asking, she quietly hailed a taxi and went back to their apartment.
Mu Family Courtyard
Mu Zhenghong's face was filled with anger, "What exactly happened?" As soon as he returned to China someone congratulated him, making him felt baffle.
Later then he found out that his eldest son was actually married, and the one he married was the ex-fiancee of his second son.
He sent someone to search for Mu Shengchen, but he was nowhere to be found. So he did not even go to the company and rushed back to the Mu Family courtyard.
"What else could it be? It was that bitch Ning Qianyu, who hooked up with your eldest son," Weng Bisa crossed her arms across her chest and spoke with a sharp voice.
Mu Zhenghong's expression immediately darkened, "Go get them for me!"
"What's with all the noises? Causing such a big fuss once you came back. Is that how a CEO supposed to behave?" Along with the sound of the cane, Old Madam Mu walked over with Mu Lingshan supporting her arm.
Mu Zhenghong remained silent with a cold expression while Weng Bisa greeted her with a smile, "Mom."
Old Madam Mu harrumphed coldly and said, "Bisa, repeat what've you said just now. I'm slightly deaf and didn't hear it clearly," It was clear that Old Madam Mu had heard what Weng Bisa said earlier and purposely said so.
Weng Bisa's face turned ashen and pouted, not daring to say another word.
Old Lady Mu sat down on the couch and said slowly, "Let this old woman explain to you what's going on."
"Jinbo was caught having sex with another woman on the bed, so, Ning Qianyu broke up with him. After they broke up, Qianyu married my little Chen," Old Lady Mu summarized the situation in just two simple sentences.
"I've already agreed. As for whether you agree or not, I'm sure little Chen wouldn't mind," With that, Old Lady Mu stood up and left.
"Mom!" Mu Zhenghong felt bad and said.
Old Madam Mu turned around and glanced at Mu Zhenghong, then said indifferently, "You are the one in charge of Mu's group, I, the old lady, do not have the authority to question. But in this house, as long as I'm still alive, I'm still the one in charge," With that, it was decided. Since Old Lady Mu had agreed on Mu Shengchen and Ning Qianyu's marriage, Mu Zhenghong did not have the authority to oppose it.
