They waited for a full hour.
When Ning Qianyu woke up and opened her eyes, she saw Mu Shengchen sitting by the bed with the little darling in his arms.
"When did you come? Why didn't you call me?" Ning Qianyu's voice was a little hoarse because she had just woken up.
"Not long ago. How do you feel?" Mu Shengchen put the little darling down and asked.
"I feel much better." Ning Qianyu said as she removed the blanket from her body and got off the bed. She then removed the button on her white coat.
Mu Shengchen immediately got up and took off her coat from the hanger. He changed the white coat she had taken off from her body.
After hanging the white coat on the hanger, he picked up the bag on Ning Qianyu's desk. Then he squatted down and waved at the little darling, "Little darling, we're going home."
The little darling immediately put down the things in his hands and threw himself into his arms.
Mu Shengchen picked up the little darling and turned his head to look at Ning Qianyu.
Ning Qianyu just happened to raise her head and meet his gaze.
"Let's go home!" Mu Shengchen's voice was as gentle as the wind.
Ning Qianyu reached out her hand to Mu Shengchen. "Give it to me."

Seeing Ning Qianyu's actions, Mu Shengchen raised the corner of his mouth.
After they left the hospital, Mu Shengchen and Ning Qianyu had planned to go to Xinyu House for dinner before returning. However, Mu Shengchen received a call from Ye Xi and had to rush back to have a video conference.
"Qianyu, I need to go back for a meeting. I might not be able to go to Xinyu House for dinner." Mu Shengchen had an apologetic look on his face.
Ning Qianyu smiled and replied, "It's okay. Let's order takeout."
"Okay." Mu Shengchen did not have any objections and started the car.
Ning Qianyu took out her phone and called Xinyu House to order.
"Cantonese or what?"
Mu Shengchen looked at the road in the distance and answered, "Look at what you and the little darling want to eat."
This was Mu Shengchen's usual habit. As long as he ate with Ning Qianyu and the little darling, he would follow the mother and daughter's preferences. He would never order the dishes he liked.

Ning Qianyu had never been interested in Mu Shengchen's work, so she just nodded and asked, "Are you eating outside or at home?"
Mu Shengchen answered without thinking, "At home."
"Yes, I'll call Mom and tell her." Ning Qianyu lowered her head and called Ning Shujun.
Mu Shengchen looked at Ning Qianyu through the rearview mirror. Then he quietly listened to her and Ning Shujun's conversation.
First, he talked about inviting Ning Shujun and Du Zhongyu to the apartment for dinner tomorrow. Then, he talked about his recovery.
Although Mu Shengchen did not hear what Ning Shujun said specifically, from Ning Qianyu's reply, he clearly knew how much his mother-in-law and father-in-law cared about his health.
