Irresistible Romance

"Who are we to seek help from? This reality show is under Bai Xiaoxiao's company. Other than Directing team, the rest of the staff and assistants are her people." Chen Yu was really curious to see what Yan Xi had up her sleeve and couldn't wait to see how angry they would be when their plans failed.    

    

"In my days, when I was working, I have made a few friends. Now, they are recognized international movie stars or directors. I'm just thinking if it's worth troubling them with these matters."    

    

When they arrived at their destination, they got off their ride. When Chen Yu saw the property they were staying in, she was stunned, "We are staying here!?"

He emphasized 'tonight'. Yan Xi smiled flirtatiously and together they walked through the main door of the manor, with Sister Xia and Chen Yu following them.     

    

A servant then walked over towards Sister Xia and Chen Yu, "Please follow me, Mr Chiang has rooms arranged for the both of you."    

    

"I would never expect we would receive this treatment as well!" Chen Yu said enviously, "Yan Xi is so lucky. Bai Luofan is really blind."    

    

"Don't ever mention that scumbag's name here. It will affect Yan Xi's mood."    

    

Although Sister Xia knew that Bai Luofan no longer had a place in Yan Xi's heart, but hearing the name would still make her feel uncomfortable.    

    

Chen Yu nodded seriously. "After what happened today with their despicable their actions, I won't mention them again."    

    

Yan Xi had already changed into her silk pajamas and was in the living room lying on the carpet, was flipping through a magazine.

He had not interfered with Yan Xi's plans and always listened to her requests. He did not act like an emperor of the entertainment empire.     

    

To Yan Xi, he was just an ordinary man doting on his wife.

Chiang Yumeng could hear the dissatisfaction towards Yan Xi in Bai Xiaoxiao's tone. Chiang Yumeng felt there was hope in her heart.     

    

"Don't worry about the filming, I have organised people to have everything arranged. However, there is one person I'm unable to control, that is the executive director, Nasha. I will set a trap for Yan Xi to embarrass herself and use the public to pressure her to resign. Then, end of filming the reality show, only you will be left to represent East Asia."    

    

"Really?" Chiang Yumeng asked cheerfully.    

    

"Yes, not to worry. Everything arranged is for you to win best actress award in October. Luofan and I will do our best to prevent Yan Xi from making a comeback." As long as Bai Xiaoxiao is determined, nothing can stop her.     

    

She was curious to see how capable Yan Xi's abilities progressed after not seeing her for a few years.    

    

The next day, there was the meeting with Directing team. As it was an international and television collaboration, well-known actors and directors including the executive director Nasha, were in attendance. In the past, she had directed several documentaries that had won awards. For this project, Nasha was responsible for the investment department.    

    

For her, Bai Xiaoxiao did not even make it on her list. If it wasn't for the chinese market, she wouldn't even considered two chinese actresses to participate in the show. But because Bai Xiaoxiao was well-informed, she seized this opportunity to persuade a partnership.    

    

The reality show was called "Behind Closed Doors" and was very different from other reality shows. The goal of this show was to capture what actors did behind the scenes. There were many special stages set up as well. As Chiang Yumeng being a third-rate actress, she didn't have the qualifications to be chosen.    

    

But Bai Xiaoxiao tweaked the audition tape. She used Yan Xi's video with mosaic impersonating Chiang Yumeng so she was eligible to participate.

However, there is no such thing as a sealed wall in this world. The news of this audition was discovered by Chiang Mochen's people and he immediately sent the information to Sister Xia's phone.    

    

Sister Xia saw this as they were about to enter the conference room. She quickly pulled Yan Xi aside and showed her the information on her phone, "They have no principles!"    

    

Yan Xi rolled her eyes while she shook her head. She also didn't expect them to sink this low. "We don't need to be too concerned, her acting will be exposed sooner or later."
