Not far ahead, dense dark thunderclouds loomed over the sky above the ocean.    

    

A series of lightning streaked across the night sky in a criss-cross, forming a huge, dazzling lightning web that appeared extemely eye-catching.    

    

The constant loud rumbles of the thunder caused everyone's scalps to go numb and created a terrifying shock that jolted through everyone's hearts.    

    

Although Lin Fei had never personally experienced any sort of thunderstorms out at sea, he had nevertheless witnessed similar types of scenes through the special effects in movies. Thus, he subconsciously decided that they had most likely encountered one of the most extreme thunderstorms out at sea.    

    

At that moment, within the dark storm before them interweaved continuous streaks of lightning that slashed through the night sky. It was truly a horrifying scene to behold in such a situation.    

    

"What I feared most to happen is now happening right before our eyes!"    

    

Lin Fei gritted his teeth and cursed in his heart.    

    

Over the past twenty-five days of drifting across the ocean, everything had gone smoothly for them.    

    

Initially, he thought that they would have a great chance of survival, but now, he began cursing God for playing with him.    

    

The gales of wind blew increasingly stronger above the sea as the rain kept pouring down heavier and heavier by the second as if someone was pouring down a giant bucketful of water from the sky above.    

    

The intense rain even prevented everyone of the lifeboat from opening their eyes.

With its sudden appearance, Lin Fei realized that their lifeboat was being pulled towards the core of the thunderstorm at an incredible speed by the raging waves.

Lin Fei truly wanted to curse at God.    

    

However, doing so would not be of any help in his current situation. Once the lifeboat got dragged in the thunderstorm, they would all face their inevitable death.

Fortunately, she was paddling in the position closest to Lin Fei just now. Otherwise, she would have already turned into shark bait in the ocean.    

    

If Lin Fei had reacted even a second later and let her fall into the sea, the huge waves flying everywhere would have swallowed her up in an instant and prevented him from diving in to rescue her.    

    

"Hold on tightly to the wooden handle. Lie down on your stomach and don't move!"

Suddenly, a mountain-like wave crashed down on the side of the lifeboat from above.

"Everyone, grab on the wooden handle!"    

    

"The lifeboat is going to flip over!"    

    

Lee Fei'er, who was observing the situation, immediately shouted at everyone on the lifeboat.    

    

Hearing her words loud and clear, everyone instantly grabbed onto the wooden handle below them and stuck their bodies firmly onto the bottom of the lifeboat.

Lin Fei shook his completely numb hand and opened his eyes weakly. He then raised his head to look around him.    

    

The three ladies were still there on the lifeboat as they really did hold onto the wooden handle below them with all their might. But since they laid their motionlessly, Lin Fei could not tell whether they were still alive or not.
