The night was really dark. I thanked the Tension Wife, Li Zheng Wife, Xie Hui Wife and others. Finally, I moved into the house that Beautiful Sister-in-law Guo Qing and I had rented in the past. When I arrived at the largest market in the neighborhood carrying a basket of dried wild fungi and the five wild ganoderma and some plastic bags left over from Sister Guo Qing's grocery shopping, the small vendors were already there, each doing their own preparation. There were also a few customers picking their own dishes; however, it was still early, and the peak of the day hadn't arrived yet. I looked around, chose a small spot on the left side of the door, stood, put the basket down, and sat down on the ground. I don't have much goods to pack, so I don't need to pack up much. Just open the basket as soon as I get a little more people.    

    

Time slowly moved backwards until it was around 6: 30, when the crowd had clearly increased in number. However, very few people came here. It was nearly seven o'clock when two old people came to look at me. Apparently, the two of them came together, and both of them were very knowledgeable and familiar with these wild fungi. When they came to my side, they first looked at the wild fungi and wild lingzhi in the basket, then looked at me, and one of them asked, "Did you pick these?" I nodded. The old man next to him asked again, "Where did you pick them?" I answered that it was Gadfly Mountain, the mountain where I lived. Obviously, the Gadfly Mountain was still rather famous outside. They nodded in unison, and when they looked at each other, they all squatted down, examined the dried fungus, identified it, sniffed it, and nodded slightly.    

    

More and more I believe they are experts. Because the way to identify the wild and dry bacteria is to look, smell, pinch, lick, bubble, and cut. The last three methods are usually used in the kitchen, and their usage and effects are average. To me, the first three methods are the real deal, especially the second method of seeing and hearing. As for my own dry wild fungus, I also believe 100%, not to mention that look, just that fragrance, that is the absolute authentic! True wild bacteria, true mountain breeze dry, true sunlight, such a primitive practice, it is difficult to not smell!    

    

Sure enough, after the two old men thought for a while, they both nodded and let me weigh a kilogram each. It was then that I realized with embarrassment that I had not brought the scale with me. Seeing me standing there in a daze, the two old men were stunned for a moment. After a while, they understood my situation, and with a kind smile, they asked me to borrow the scale from someone else. I looked around and saw that all the scales of the surrounding vegetable vendors were in use, so I could only give the two old men an apologetic smile. The two old men looked at each other again. They both took a small plastic bag from me, grabbed two with their hands, and gave me twenty yuan each.
