Husband's Crazy Love

Mrs Zhang saw Jian Xi walk down and turned around to return to the kitchen. She brought out a bowl of soup and placed it on the dining table. She shouted at Jian Xi who seemed to be in a daze as she looked at the clock in the living room.    

"Madam, finish the soup first and eat lunch in a while! Or do you want to eat breakfast?"    

"No need, that's it!" Jian Xi came back to her senses and turned to Mrs Zhang to reply. She then turned to the dining table to drink the soup.    

When she came over in the morning, she saw that there was no more claypot seafood porridge on the stove. It was ready to be washed clean. Mrs Zhang knew that after she left, Jian Xi woke up. She then heated the porridge and ate it.    

Mrs Zhang could not help but think of Gufeng's instructions to her. If not for Gu's assistant reminding her, she would not have known that Madam had already returned.    

After a bowl of soup entered the stomach, the feeling of hunger immediately disappeared.    

It was only at this moment that Jian Xi remembered that she didn't even bring breakfast to Qu Yichen. She did not know whether Qu Yichen had eaten breakfast or not, but it was definitely too late to send it over now. It was almost time for lunch. It was better to send lunch to Qu Yichen later!    

Although hubby Qu had warned her many things last night, he didn't mention about taking care of Qu Yichen. He only warned her not to think about climbing onto Qu Yichen's bed.

She and Qu Yichen were doing it for no reason. They had nothing to do with other men. Why couldn't hubby Qu believe her words and be at ease with her?

Jian Xi did not expect that she only did not bring breakfast over. Qu Yichen actually had such a big complaint. "Sorry, I overslept this morning. It's just that if I don't eat breakfast, I won't starve to death. There's no need for such a huge resentment!" Jian Xi said somewhat helplessly.    

Besides, she did not do it on purpose. She really could not get up. And the curtains in the bedroom were pulled up by someone and covered tightly. Not a single ray of light could penetrate through. If not for the fact that she had accidentally kicked the curtains, she would have thought that it was night.    

"You just didn't eat breakfast?" Qu Yichen repeated Jian Xi's words in disbelief. "You didn't just eat breakfast! You haven't been here for two whole days!"    

"Two days? Impossible!" Jian Xi replied in disbelief. No matter how much she slept, it was impossible for her to sleep for two days!    

But seeing Qu Yichen's determined face, Jian Xi was a little suspicious. She took out her phone and looked at the calendar on it. It immediately stunned Jian Xi. The day they returned was the third day, but it was already the sixth.

She did not want to say that, but other than this explanation, she could not say anything else. She could not tell Qu Yichen that it was because she was tired from doing exercise on the bed that she forgot about it!

Jian Xi's explanation was so clear that it did not seem like she was lying. But sleeping for two whole days and three nights, this was definitely not a normal situation. "Are you feeling unwell? I think I should go to the hospital for a check-up!" Qu Yichen said worriedly.    

"To the hospital? No need! I think I'm in good health! This might be an accident." Jian Xi hurriedly refused and said.    

At the same time she was afraid of going to the hospital and being discovered by others, seeing Qu Yichen so worried about her, Jian Xi suddenly felt a warmth in her heart. It was a really good feeling to have someone care about her.    

"But you slept for two whole days and three nights. This is definitely not normal." Qu Yichen still wanted to persuade Jian Xi to go to the hospital for a check-up.    

"No, and I slept for so long. I did not feel uncomfortable at all. On the contrary, I feel that I am full of energy right now. It is especially good." Jian Xi almost stood up and said after exercising a few times.
